We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful news about the completion of the project you so generously supported in rural Kenya. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we have successfully built a place of hope—a community center equipped with a library, computer lab, and training rooms tailored specifically for women in the area.
The significance of this achievement cannot be overstated, especially in a region where access to such facilities was once a distant dream. However, our commitment to empowering this community didn't stop there. We recognized the critical need for electricity to fully harness the potential of the center and ensure its sustainability. It is with great joy, we announce that we have recently installed solar electricity to power the entire building.
This milestone not only amplifies the impact of the center but also serves as a lifeline for the community, offering them the opportunity to engage in education, technology, and skill-building activities even in the absence of conventional power sources. Your support has truly transformed lives and ignited hope where it was needed most.
Looking ahead, our next step is to install water tanks and a tower for drinking water, as well as to establish a garden to teach residents agricultural skills and grow food. Funding for these essential components is still needed, and we humbly request your continued support in this endeavor (https://givebutter.com/GSSAKen...).
We extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering belief in our mission and your commitment to making a lasting difference. Together, we are creating a brighter future for generations to come.
With heartfelt thanks,
Dr. Vivien Lattibeaudiere Founder/President GSSA

The Completion of a Place of Hope is Now in Sight!
Again, thank you for your generous donation to help build a Multigenerational Community Center Project in rural Kenya.
The final phase of building the structure has been completed! All that is left of the building construction is the installation of tile flooring and painting the interior walls.
We are making one last request for your support to purchase and install solar power to provide electricity to the building because the community does not have any electricity.
We also need donations to add a water tower to the building for drinking water and to plant a community garden that will grow food for the families of the community.
We are still on target to complete the building and these final two projects in time to hold a grand opening celebration in the Summer of 2024.
We need your support and donation one last time to help complete the project. Any amount will help!
The community continues to put a great deal of sweat equity in the project to reduce the cost and look forward to vital services it will house for the children and families in their very poor, isolated rural tribal community.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT! 👍 ❤️ The GSSA Team

We need your continued support to complete phase 4 - Internal concrete finishing details, adding windows, doors, flooring and lighting fixtures. The next and final phase will be adding electricity and furnishing the facility including securing books for the library.
