This is a free event. No donation is required.

Join us on Saturday, June 6th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a community picnic honoring the lives of our loved ones lost to gun violence. This gathering is a space for survivors, families, and supporters to come together in remembrance, raise awareness, and strengthen our community through connection and support.

We warmly invite you to bring your loved one’s favorite meal or drink to share in their honor. By sharing the foods and drinks they loved, we keep their memories alive and celebrate the impact they had on our lives and community.

Guests are also encouraged to bring their own chairs for comfort.

The picnic will be outside in a round pen. Please dress for the outdoors and wear comfortable shoes. The ground is mostly dirt or sand. Because the ground is dirt, it will be difficult to use a wheelchair or walker at this event. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We will also have some crafts available. We will have pots and rocks available to paint. You may paint them however you want!

Únanse a nosotros el sábado 6 de junio, de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m., para un picnic comunitario en honor a la vida de nuestros seres queridos que perdieron la vida a causa de la violencia armada. Esta reunión es un espacio para que sobrevivientes, familiares y simpatizantes se reúnan para recordar, crear conciencia y fortalecer nuestra comunidad a través de la conexión y el apoyo.

Los invitamos cordialmente a traer la comida o bebida favorita de su ser querido para compartir en su honor. Al compartir las comidas y bebidas que les gustaban, mantenemos vivos sus recuerdos y celebramos el impacto que tuvieron en nuestras vidas y en nuestra comunidad.

También se recomienda a los asistentes traer sus propias sillas para mayor comodidad.

El picnic se realizará al aire libre en un recinto circular. Les pedimos que vistan ropa adecuada para exteriores y usen vestimiento cómodo. El suelo es principalmente de tierra o arena. Debido a esto, será difícil acceder al evento en silla de ruedas o andador. Lamentamos las molestias.

Tendremos algunas manualidades disponibles. Tendremos macetas y piedras para pintar. ¡Pueden pintarlas como quieran!
