What We Do

COYSC believes that all youth - regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status, and other diverse backgrounds - deserve access to safe and fun sports and recreational opportunities that build confidence and improve overall well-being.

Research shows that youth who participate in sports are happier, healthier, and more prepared for life. The life skills learned through sports are carried throughout life.

Our goals are to:

Increase the number of quality sports opportunities for youth in Central Ohio
Increase the number of youth participating in quality sports in Central Ohio
Increase the number of qualified coaches and officials who have been trained to prioritize social and emotional skill development in youth participants
Increase the number of networking opportunities and promote potential partnerships between youth sports organizations
