GG & POP INSTITUTE was founded by artist Jessica Ann Peavy in 2023 after the release of an artist book for young creatives she co-created in 2021 with artist Mimi Moffie.

GG & POP INSTITUTE is a multigenerational, sustainable art, design and wellness studio. As we recently celebrated our one-year anniversary and establishment as a nonprofit, we have quickly become a pivotal institution for art and design. Our dynamic space offers collaborative projects, educational programs, performances, and curated exhibitions.

In our inaugural year in East Harlem, we served over 1,600 community members, provided career opportunities to 30 artists, and worked with 90 students through design education partnerships.
