💛 The World Has Heart: Fighting Hunger One Heart at a Time

In a world where hunger is often invisible, local artist and community advocate Monika Modest decided to speak through art.

She began creating handcrafted clay hearts — each one unique, each one a quiet symbol of compassion. A long-time supporter of food banks, Monika started this project to help feed families, spread kindness, and invite others to join the fight against hunger.

Through her project, The World Has Heart, Monika is raising money to support the Merced County Food Bank, a vital resource serving a community where she has deep roots and continues her advocacy today.

These hearts are meant to be shared — given as tokens of love, reminders that someone cares, and proof that small acts of generosity can make a big difference.
