Let's Keep Pets Safe, Loved & Home Where They Belong

At Mendo Shelter Pets Rescue we continue to reflect on our progress with gratitude. Our community and sense of purpose gives us faith that together we can continue to tackle the challenges facing animal rescue today!

We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our donors and friends! That generosity fuels our mission and allows us to step in for the pets—and people—who need us most.

Because at Mendo Shelter Pets Rescue, impact isn’t measured only by adoption numbers.
It’s measured by the families we help stay together…
The crises we prevent…
And the pets we support when no one else can.

Why Your Donation Matters

Our rescue often takes on the most challenging, least visible cases—pets needing urgent medical care, emergency housing, or stabilization before they’re ready for adoption. The need grows every year, but so does our commitment.

In the past year, because of community support, we provided:

Public Assistance - Food, Supplies, Training and Safety invested directly into local families
Critical Life Saving Veterinary Care
Countless hours of volunteer support from a 100% volunteer-run team (no one is paid)
Life-changing services, including:
- Life-saving vet care (major & minor)
- Spay & neuter assistance
- Emergency pet boarding
- Training programs
- Rehoming & marketing support

All of this—without paid staff, without a facility.

We are asking for your help.

Your donation—any size—goes directly to the animals and families who need it most.

When you give, you’re not just supporting a rescue.
You’re keeping pets in homes.
You’re stabilizing lives.
You’re filling the gaps in our community before they become heartbreak.

Make a gift today.

Help us continue being the safety net for the pets—and people—who rely on us.**

Thank you for believing in this work, for standing with us, and for helping create lasting change in our community. Together, we make miracles happen every single day.
