What Families Experienced at Get Ready Fest®

At Get Ready Fest® 2026, hundreds of Philadelphia families explored six basketball courts filled with resources and opportunities. Children selected new winter coats and book bags. Families took home fresh groceries, received health screenings, met community organizations and learned about employment opportunities. They could ask questions, compare options and choose what mattered most to them.

What We Can Do Together This Holiday Season

In December, Holiday Dinner Basket Surprise will bring groceries, holiday favorites, winter coats, book bags and gifts to 300 families in Philadelphia, PA and 300 families in Newark, NJ. Your gift helps families prepare a festive meal, celebrate together and make memories with less worry about what they can afford.

A basket of groceries can become a holiday dinner shared around the table. A new gift can bring joy to a child and relief to a parent making difficult choices about every dollar.
