Teaching girls to speak up for themselves in their homes, schools and communities increases girls’ agency over their future and empowers girls to set boundaries and break barriers. Empowered girls go on to be the first in their families to reach amazing milestones and they are never the last.

Each year, She’s the First programs directly impact more than 159,700 girls across 42 countries.

Over the past 14 years, we’ve created transformational outcomes for 563,700 girls by working alongside 685 community organizations in 42 countries!

This impact manifests in girls having access to education and mentorship, but that is not all. Girls learn to stand up for themsleves, set boundaries, report harmful behavior and experiences, and gain the support of mentors and community leaders who prioritize girls' rights and girl empowerment.
