Olympia Vision Fair!

Have you ever thought about what you’d do if you lost your vision? What about if your child or spouse lost theirs?

This troubling question is exactly why we are inviting you to join us in hosting the Hope Vision Foundation Olympia Vision Fair.  We are here to help by providing individualized resource connections and education services for visually impaired patients and their care partners. Our mission is to empower people with permanent vision loss to live their best lives.

The first annual Olympia Vision Fair will be held at the Olympia Center, 222 Columbia Street NW on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9:00am-4:00pm. The free event will provide opportunities to meet and be inspired by other people in our community with vision loss, feature speakers on emerging assistive technologies, and bridge connections to resources and adaptive devices.  We are inviting the public in Thurston, Mason, and Lewis counties with targeted marketing through retirement communities, medical providers, tribal health coordinators, cultural community groups, libraries, colleges, and service organizations and hope to attract 75 to 100 Attendees for this inaugural event.

Thank you to all our supporters!

Your donations have helped us stand up our online courses in 2021, and in 2022 we will be hosting 3 in person workshops with vision screening, device demos, and educational talks.

Check out www.school-of-vision.teachable.com to see our online content.

Our 2020 Workshop attendees had great feedback and we are excited to get back out in the community and make an impact. We now have more partners in the South Sound and can expand low vision services thanks to your support.

Thank you!
