For more than 32 years, Club Esteem has been helping underserved youth and their families in Brevard County break the cycle of poverty and develop into healthy, productive and caring adults. Together, with families, volunteers, and community partners, we are creating Equity Through Education.

Club Esteem currently serves over 180 economically disadvantaged youth and their families five days a week through our after-school and summer programs. We provide tutoring in all core subjects and college preparation, as well as enrichment activities that teach these students life skills, character development, financial literacy and healthy habits. In addition, Club Esteem students have the opportunity to explore various careers, tour colleges and participate in community service projects throughout the year.

In the United States, the average college graduation rate for low-income students is 16%. Meanwhile, at Club Esteem, 100% of our students who enroll in college are graduating within 4-6 years and working in their fields. Some of our alums have even gone on to earn their Masters and Doctorate degrees! This is just one of many ways that Club Esteem students are defying the odds.

Your support is needed NOW more than ever. There has been an increase in Juvenile crime, gang violence and drug addiction in the neighborhoods surrounding Club Esteem. Unfortunately, some of these criminal acts have led to fatalities. For children facing these realities, it could seem as if all hope is lost. However, in the heart of South Melbourne, Club Esteem provides a safe, nurturing and positive space where children learn how to navigate through perilous times and face continuous challenges.
