Empowering the Next Generation Through Education, Innovation, and Outreach

At Cyber Bytes Foundation (CBF), we believe access to technology education creates opportunities, inspires innovation, and builds a stronger workforce for the future.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to advance education, innovation, and outreach in cybersecurity and emerging technologies. Through hands-on learning, workforce development, and community partnerships, we are helping students, educators, veterans, and aspiring professionals develop the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.

This Giving Tuesday, you can help us expand these opportunities and inspire the next generation of technology leaders.

Your Support in Action

Cyber Titans Summer Camps: Inspiring Young Innovators

Our Cyber Titans Summer Camps introduce children and teenagers to the exciting world of technology through immersive, hands-on experiences.

Rather than simply learning about technology, campers get to build, create, and explore it themselves. Our programs include:

Build Your Own PC: Students assemble their own gaming computers while learning about hardware and technology.
AI & Robotics: Campers explore artificial intelligence, programming, and robotics through interactive projects.
Drones & Engineering: Students develop technical and problem-solving skills through drone technology and engineering challenges.
3D Printing & Emerging Technology: Participants bring creative ideas to life while developing foundational STEM skills.

These experiences build confidence, encourage teamwork, and introduce young learners to career possibilities they may never have considered.

AI Mobile Unit: Bringing Technology Education to Communities

One of our most exciting initiatives is the GO Virginia Regions 6 & 9 AI Mobile Unit, designed to bring artificial intelligence education directly to schools, businesses, and communities throughout Virginia.

Through this innovative program, we are expanding access to AI literacy, hands-on training, and industry-recognized credentials, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

Over two years, the initiative aims to:

Reach 2,000 students through hands-on AI education.
Deliver 160 AI workshops across participating communities.
Train and certify 160 educators to integrate AI into learning.
Help 400 high school seniors earn industry-recognized AI credentials.
Engage 20 businesses in AI workforce development.

By bringing education directly to communities, we are helping remove geographic and resource barriers while preparing Virginians for the rapidly evolving workforce.

Cyber Path Exploration Week: Connecting Students to Future Careers

Our annual Cyber Path Exploration Week brings together regional students, educators, industry professionals, and technology innovators for an immersive introduction to cybersecurity and emerging technology careers.

Through interactive learning stations, students explore:

Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity
Drone technology and robotics
Virtual reality and immersive technology
Computer hardware and engineering
Real-world technology applications and career pathways

Students have the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, discover emerging career fields, and better understand the education and skills needed to pursue them.

Our goal is simple: Help students see what is possible and give them the confidence to pursue it.

Why Your Support Matters

Technology is transforming nearly every industry, but access to hands-on education and career exploration is not equal for everyone.
