GTIP Board member Michael Tyler Ramos, LCSW generously started this scholarship in 2021 to honor his mother, Gloria E. Ramos for the sacrifices she made as a single mother of four and domestic violence survivor.

This scholarship supports the professional development of any Latinx applicant accepted into the 3-year training program demonstrating financial need.

The scholarship aims to increase the representation of trainees of color at GTIP. Michael Tyler Ramos is grateful to be able to give back to his community, recognizing that he could not have achieved his success as a private practitioner without the support of his mother, family, friends and mentors.
