Gold Out San Antonio – Together for Kids Fighting Cancer

Every September, Gabriella’s Smile Foundation leads the Gold Out San Antonio movement to honor children battling cancer, raise awareness, and rally our community to take action during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

This movement started in 2017 in memory of Gabriella, whose strength and courage continue to inspire us to do more for kids and families facing the unimaginable. Childhood cancer is the number one cause of death by disease among children, and families here in San Antonio are facing this fight right now.

Our Goal This Year

We’re coming together with one bold goal:
Raise $10,000 in September to provide vital programs for families in our city.

Your support helps us continue and grow the services we offer, including:

Financial Assistance – to help families cover bills, rent, groceries, and gas
Hospital Deliveries – toys, gifts, and backpacks for patients and siblings
Bereavement Support – for families navigating the hardest moments
Special Family Events & Holiday Assistance – to create joy and community

With more funding, we can expand to offer mental health support, case management, and social services—critical needs that families currently go without simply because funding isn’t there yet.

How You Can Help

We’re inviting three powerful groups to join the fight:

Gold Out Champions – Individuals and families raising $500+ each through peer-to-peer fundraising.
Local Businesses – Sponsoring, donating, or running customer campaigns in-store or online.
Churches & Faith Communities – Rallying congregations to give, host a special offering, or share the campaign.

When our Champions, Businesses, and Churches unite, we will reach our $10,000 goal and make a real impact on local families.
