From November 14–16, 2025, Santa Fe will become the beating heart of a worldwide prayer. Together, we will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Temple of the Golden Child — a sacred vision entrusted to Grandmother Flordemayo — with ceremony, council, and teachings that carry the prophecy and wisdom of the ancestors into the future.

The “Golden Child” is not a prophecy about one person, but a message about the divine potential within every human being. In the teachings of Grandmother Flordemayo, the Golden Child is the spark of the Creator — a radiant light of love, compassion, and unity that is our birthright. This vision calls us to remember: we are born from love, created for harmony, and capable of profound transformation when we choose to live in balance with the Earth and one another.

We affirm our right to ceremony and our responsibility to protect our collective heritage. We gather in prayer for peace, in healing for humanity, and to honor the Earth as a living being.

A Sacred Celebration in Santa Fe

This landmark gathering is not only a celebration — it is a global call to prayer and action. Held in Santa Fe, where the Grandmothers Council first united in ceremony, this three-day event will honor the 15th Anniversary of the Temple of the Golden Child and will include:

The surrounding days will feature private ceremonies, prayer walks, and interfaith offerings throughout the sacred lands of New Mexico — weaving together the voices of Elders, Wisdom Keepers, and spiritual leaders from the Four Directions.

About The Path & Your Host, Grandmother Flordemayo

The Path is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sustained entirely through grassroots generosity. We create inclusive, accessible gatherings where everyone is welcome — regardless of financial means — rooted in the belief that community and spirit thrive when no one is left outside the circle.

Our home rests on 40 sacred acres in Estancia, New Mexico, where Grandmother Flordemayo lives and prays. Here, we tend to heirloom seeds, protect Indigenous wisdom, care for sacred sites, and steward the land in harmony with the Earth. These efforts honor ancient traditions and safeguard them for the generations yet to come.

Founded by Grandmother Flordemayo — Curandera Espiritu and founding member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers — The Path serves as a living bridge between ancestral knowledge and the practices needed to sustain life in our modern world. It is home to the Seed Temple, where thousands of heirloom seeds are preserved, prayed over, and shared in the spirit of reciprocity.

A Mayan curandera, healer, and prayerful messenger for Mother Earth, Grandmother Flordemayo was born in the Central American highlands as the youngest of 15 children. Blessed from childhood with the Gift of Sight, she was trained by her mother — a midwife and healer — in the sacred traditions of herbs, women’s medicine, and honoring the Earth. She carries her family’s sacred staff, passed down through twelve generations.

Guided by a vision from the Beloved Mother, she founded The Path as a sanctuary for prayer, ceremony, and the protection of all that is sacred. Her work has taken her across the globe, offering healing, teaching, and ceremony through the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers and the Mother Earth Delegation of United Indigenous Nations.

Her presence is a prayer for unity. Her life’s work calls us to remember our sacred connection to the Earth — and to walk in beauty, gratitude, and respect for all life.

Grandmother Flordemayo received the vision of the Golden Child in deep prayer: an egg made of Earth transformed into falling crystalline snow, revealing a newborn child wrapped in gold. This child represents the awakening of humanity to its true nature — a call for all people to nurture the light within, to walk in kindness, and to embody the wisdom of the ancestors.

The Golden Child teaches that spiritual awakening begins with connection — connection to our hearts, to one another, and to the living world around us. By honoring the seeds, protecting the waters, respecting all life, and listening deeply to Mother Earth, we open the way for healing, compassion, and unity to flourish.

The Temple of the Golden Child is the physical embodiment of this vision — a beacon of universal love and ancestral prophecy. As we gather for its 15th anniversary in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Elders, Grandmothers, Wisdom Keepers, and spiritual leaders from around the world will join together in prayer, ceremony, and truth. We come to honor the light within each person, to protect what is sacred, and to carry this vision forward for the next seven generations.
