2023 H2H Event: Keeping up the fun factor, we love to add a theme! "1972 Kirkwood People" This season, we are celebrating 50 years of Kirkwood with a nod to Warren Millers' iconic ski film "Winter People". So dig out your fanciest 1972 ski attire and try on your favorite bell bottoms.

Fundraising: Athletes will create a profile and seek sponsorships through our Give Butter platform. Funds raised allow us to hire the best alpine racing staff in Tahoe and keep the program at an affordable cost. We will also have an online silent auction (www.32auctions.com/Head2Head2023) which will conclude during the après ski event. There are many great items and experiences to choose from!

Race: Each athlete will have two opportunities to race side by side against parents, coaches, and teammates. The group event is back, so get ready to be a part of an awesome team race! Course inspection at 9:15. Race starts at 10!

Après Ski: Don't miss out on our Après Ski party featuring live music by Mo’Z Motley Blues & Rock, while feasting on appetizers, wine and beer. Well drinks will be available for purchase.

The Team: The Kirkwood Ski Team is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)3 that is committed to providing high quality alpine ski education and racing to as many kids as possible. The program provides an alpine ski racing program that promotes a healthy lifestyle, a winning spirit and a love of mountain snow sports through professional athletic skill development. We are focused on competitive alpine ski racing and guided by five basic fundamentals - each is equally important and interdependent.

With the generous financial support of our sponsors, KSEF maintains programs for racing in US Ski & Snowboard Far West, Tahoe League, and Masters Events. KSEF also provides support to those athletes that require financial assistance to participate in our programs.

The Head 2 Head Race is our biggest and most important fundraiser to support our programs. Funds raised allow us to hire the best alpine racing staff in Tahoe and keep the program at an affordable cost. Your support means so much!
