Join K.A.V.A. Talks for our 11th Annual Heels 2 Heal 1 Mile Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Heels 2 Heal is K.A.V.A. Talks yearly event that helps educate and raise funds to support programming the directly benefits survivors of Domestic Violence. This is an ongoing issue that affects all communities and we hope you'll participate to be part of the change.

The walk will take place Saturday, October 25th from 11am - 2pm at the International Peace Gardens. You can walk alone or come with a group of friends, family, coworkers, even pets are welcome! The color of the month is purple so we encourage purple clothing! Let's take a stand together, especially as crucial funding and programs that assist victims and survivors face budget cuts. This work is important and we need the support of our community to continue. If you'd like to take part in the walk please register here on GiveButter. All donations collected will go towards supporting ongoing programming that provides aid to survivors through food security, job assistance, and victim advocacy.
