As we come to the end of the school year, we are excited to launch our “Every Family Gives” Capital Campaign. Each year we strive for 100% participation from all families because we know that together we are a stronger, more unified community and school!

When Bnei Yisrael were traveling in the desert, there was a need to build a physical structure so that the people could gather and worship Hashem. It was incumbent on everybody in the community to contribute to the edifice itself, the Mishkan. It was recognized even then how integral the physical structure was to the perpetuation of the Jewish people. So too, our community is building our future by investing in our children's Jewish education.

As a school, we need to raise the remaining $1,800,000 needed to complete the funding for the incredible $6,600,000 building that is being constructed on our campus as we speak. This building has become essential for our school to continue to provide a stellar education to our existing students, as we currently do not have enough space to accommodate our 700 children. This project will add 10 new classrooms, a larger Beit Midrash, and other facilities for our current children, faculty, and staff.

Baruch Hashem, with the help of our state government, and the tireless efforts by Teach Florida in conjunction with many former and current parents at KHDS supporting and advocating for our community, we have been given the gift of tuition relief in the form of approximately $8,400 per child! This is almost a 45% savings in our annual tuition costs in the form of post-tax savings, and as a community, almost $5,900,000 annually.

Our remaining cost of $1,800,000 for the building represents just over 30% of that number. If, as a community, we are able to give at least $1 for every $3 that the government has gifted us, we could reach our goal.

With this in mind, let's come together as a community and make our building a reality, with every family donating to the best of their ability! Whether you can do it over one year, two years, or three years, your valuable gift will enable our beloved school to build without taking on debt or an increased mandatory building fund fee.
