The Heart of Mardi Gras: Supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth

This year’s Mardi Gras Party is more than a festive gathering; it’s a powerful way to support Out for Education, Houston’s leading LGBTQIA+ scholarship-granting foundation. Since its founding, Out for Education has awarded over 350 scholarships totaling $1.7 million to Houston-area LGBTQIA+ youth, helping them achieve their academic goals and empowering the next generation of leaders in our community.

The organization’s mission is rooted in the belief that by investing in the education of LGBTQIA+ students, we create a vibrant future for the entire community. The funds raised at this event directly contribute to scholarships that not only ease the financial burden of higher education but also reaffirm the self-concept and potential of Houston’s LGBTQIA+ youth.

Taking place on Wednesday, February 26th, from 6 – 9 p.m., the Mardi Gras Party will transport you to the heart of New Orleans with the exceptional hospitality and cuisine of Brennan’s of Houston, a Midtown landmark since 1967. Guests will enjoy:
