Dr. Kevin M. Simon, MD, MPH, a triple board-certified psychiatrist in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine, brings a systems-focused, equity-driven approach to public health and clinical care. Dr. Simon is the Chief Behavioral Health Officer for the City of Boston. Clinically, he directs the JUSTICE Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he cares for youth facing the intersecting challenges of mental illness, substance use, and system involvement. Academically, he serves as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. His research on structural violence and behavioral health equity has been nationally recognized. His work is published in notable journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, and he is a sought-after thought leader on mental health in both academic and national media platforms.
