Jason Brown's Story
I am Challenger #1050 for the legendary HOKA HEY Motorcycle Challenge in August of 2024. This beast of a ride is primarily on secondary roads, without the use of any GPS guidance devices. We are given only turn x turn directions that lead us from the starting point in Daytona, FL to 3 checkpoints before leading us to the finish line in Homer, AK.
On this journey, I will sleep within 15 feet of my bike (outdoors), navigate the prescribed route, attempt to dodge wild animals, fight exhaustion, and see a lot of the beauty this country has to offer. This challenge will truly be a test of the Mind, Body, Soul, and Motorcycle.
As part of this event, I will be riding with Mile Monsters Inc., we are Long Distance Charity Riders (LDCR). We ride every mile for a cause. Our primary function is to help and support our HEROES, which are boys that have been stricken by an awful sickness that is called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It is a 100% fatal disease with no known cure.
Mile Monsters Inc. is a Non Profit 501c3 which hopes to Inspire and Motivate people to join us. We ride to make the world a better place. Money raised goes to help children affected by disease, injuries and circumstances out of their control. The kids we help need a MONSTER in their corner to help fight the battle with them. The Monsters Help kids live their best life.
