Healing Hearts Dallas Winter Outreach Initiative

Healing Hearts Foundation, an initiative of Banks & Co. Therapy Alliance, supports individuals and families across the DFW area experiencing hardship during periods of crisis.

Following recent winter weather in North Texas, many individuals—particularly those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity—continue to face limited access to basic necessities, warmth, and food. While conditions have stabilized for some, vulnerable populations remain at risk.

Campaign Update:
This campaign initially focused on emergency food support. As weather conditions stabilized for some but ongoing needs remained for others, we shifted our focus to distributing winter backpacks with essential supplies directly in the community.

This initiative is focused on immediate, practical, street-level support.

Our Goal: $1,500

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to purchase and distribute pre-assembled winter backpacks filled with essential supplies, including warm gear, hygiene items, and non-perishable food items and snacks. These backpacks will be distributed directly in the community to individuals most impacted by winter conditions.

If we reach our fundraising goal, we will be able to distribute up to 100 winter backpacks to those in need.

Our approach prioritizes dignity, transparency, and rapid response. All support is provided based on immediate need and available resources. If additional funds are raised, outreach efforts will be expanded according to community need and capacity.
