This special evening will feature a tasting menu of home cooked dishes by Afghan refugee chefs who will be present to introduce their food, culture and experience as new community members resettled in New Orleans.
Tickets include a welcome cocktail and a tasting menu highlighting the Afghan national celebratory dish, Khabuli Palao (veg and non-veg), Mantu (beef dumplings), Borani Banjan (Roasted eggplant casserole) and Bolani (Afghan flatbread).
