The sun has held the sky for over fourteen hours. Now, as she begins her descent — we gather.

June 21 is the Summer Solstice. The longest day of the year. The moment the sun reaches her peak before gracefully releasing the sky back to the stars.

We begin at 8:30 PM — during the golden hour — as the last light of the solstice stretches warm and amber across the horizon. This timing is intentional. This is ritual.

The 2nd Annual Hot Mom Summer Solstice Activation is a virtual sacred space created specifically for Black & Brown moms, aunts, and caregivers in the disability and special education community. Women who show up — every single day — for their children, their families, and their communities, often without pause, often without recognition.

The solstice reminds us that even the sun rests. Even the brightest light softens into something deeper and just as sacred.

Tonight, that space is yours.

Together we will move through yin yoga, guided meditation, and intentional journaling — practices designed to help you exhale, release what you've been carrying, and reconnect with yourself as the solstice evening unfolds around you.
