In 2012, a spark was lit at Google I/O. What began as a gathering of passionate women in technology evolved into a global movement that has redefined what it means to lead in the tech industry. Today, that movement is sustained by the tireless dedication of over 2,500 Google Women Techmakers (WTM) Ambassadors across five continents.

For over a decade, we have carried the torch—hosting quarterly events, leading annual International Women’s Day campaigns, and building vibrant local communities. But today, the landscape is shifting.

The Challenge

With the recent pressures of defunding impacting our global network, the vital support systems that have empowered thousands of women are at a crossroads. The need for a community-owned, holistic peer-to-peer space has never been more urgent.

Bridge Builders HQ was born from this necessity. We are committed to preserving the inclusive, "co-op spirit" that allows Ambassadors to unite freely across programs, corporations, and affiliations. We aren't just maintaining a network; we are safeguarding a legacy for future generations.
