Our Class. Our Fund. Our Legacy.

Fifteen years after graduating from Howard University, the Class of 2011 has an opportunity to build something that will support Howard students for generations.

Our goal is to raise at least $100,000, the minimum required to establish the Howard University Class of 2011 Endowed Fund. Once established, the fund will be invested and managed by Howard University to provide ongoing support for future students in the form of scholarships, campus improvement investments and other giving.

There are 2,184 members of the Class of 2011. If every class member gave $20.11 per month, we would raise more than $43,000 each month and reach our goal in under three months. We know everyone’s circumstances are different, but every classmate who participates brings us closer.

Donations are made to HBCU Green Fund are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. HBCU Green Fund will provide the nonprofit administration and financial oversight for the campaign, while the Class of 2011 retains control over setting campaign goals and determining how the funds create charitable impact.

The money will not be transferred to Howard unless and until our class decides to establish the endowed fund. When we reach Howard’s minimum, we will create our endowment agreement with the university that establishes how funds will be used and make the transfer. Until then, we retain the flexibility to fund scholarships or other class-approved initiatives benefiting Howard students and the university community.

Immediate giving 2026-2027: funds will be given directly to students during the 2026 - 2027 academic year. Giving stories will be shared here and via Instagram (@huclassof2011).

Endowed Fund: These funds will be held for the endowed fund and contributed in bulk once our goal is reached.

Howard invested in us. Now we have an opportunity to invest in the students coming behind us.
