Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, a state of emergency has been in effect in Armenia since March 16th. The measures have disproportionately affected the most vulnerable portion of the populations. Realizing the gravity of the situation, and to help those most in need, the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) in Armenia and the Nigol Aghpalian Student Association launched the "Help Your Compatriot" initiative.

AYF members have been hand-delivering packages to families living in border regions who have suffered the most from the crisis. Packages contain essential food and supplies, such as flour, lentils, rice, olive oil, soap, and more. Each package will stock a family of four to six people for roughly 20 days. Each package costs ~$32.

As of today, the AYF in Armenia has delivered over 900 packages to families in 5 different provinces throughout Armenia. The AYF Eastern Region understands the incredible hardship many of Armenia's families and is raising the necessary funds to sponsor the province of Syunik where about 300 families reside.

Our goal is to raise $9,000+ in order to ensure packages are delivered to all families in need. The entirety of donations for this campaign will be sent for use by AYF Armenia.
