Empowering Foundations: Bold Ladies in Business Join Habitat for Humanity's Women Build
In the vibrant heart of Marion County, a remarkable collaboration is taking shape that resonates with the power of community and empowerment. The Bold Ladies in Business, under the passionate leadership of founder Ana Reyes-Ouzts and co-founder Alina Perry-Smith, are bringing their dynamic spirit to Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build initiative.
A Vision of Empowerment
Ana Reyes-Ouzts, inspired by the wisdom of her mentor from Mary Kay who believed that "If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want," has always envisioned creating platforms where women could thrive. Together with Alina Perry-Smith, they have cultivated spaces where women not only meet but connect deeply, creating lasting relationships and business opportunities. This ethos is the heartbeat of Bold Ladies in Business and now extends to their participation in Women Build.
Building More Than Homes
For nearly two decades, the Women Build program lay dormant in Marion County, waiting for a resurgence. Now, as it reawakens, the Bold Ladies in Business are stepping up, rallying their network to bring about transformative change. They see Women Build as more than just a construction project; it's an opportunity to cement the bonds of community, lift each other up, and create tangible outcomes through collective effort.
A Collaboration Rooted in Core Principles
The collaboration is a natural extension of the three core principles that guide Bold Ladies in Business:
Making Meaningful Connections: Just as their monthly meetings and coffee connections have fostered business relationships, their involvement in Women Build is about strengthening the community fabric, one home at a time.
Raising Funds for Local Charities: Their commitment to nurturing extends to the broader community. By participating in Women Build, they channel this spirit into building homes, providing a stable foundation for families in need.
Supporting Local Businesses: In true spirit, the build promotes local involvement, utilizing local businesses and resources to fuel the project, mirroring their practice of uplifting local enterprises.
Join Us for a Transformative Kickoff
