Dear Friends and Family,

As I approach my 70th birthday this fall, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the blessings of the past decades—family, friendship, community, and the opportunity to grow in Jewish life.

Our tradition teaches that reaching seventy is itself a meaningful milestone. In Pirkei Avot we read, “At seventy comes fullness of years,” recognizing the richness that a lifetime of experience and learning can bring. This teaching encourages me to pause, give thanks, and look toward the future with intention and purpose.

In that spirit, I would be honored if you would join me in marking this milestone by supporting Beth El Synagogue in Minneapolis, a community that continues to enrich my life and the lives of so many others. Beth El is a vibrant place of prayer, song, learning, and connection—where generations gather to celebrate, to comfort one another, and to strengthen Jewish life.
