Benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center of Independence County

At the Children’s Advocacy Center of Independence County, we meet some of the bravest children in our community, children who have found the courage to speak out against the abuse they've experienced. When they walk through our doors, we listen to them, we believe them, and we support them through every step of their healing journey. It is an honor to walk alongside them as they begin to reclaim hope.

We work hand-in-hand with child protective services, law enforcement, and prosecutors to ensure that professionals collaborate in the best interest of the child. Within our center, a dedicated team of Advocates, Forensic Interviewers, Mental Health Providers, and Medical Professionals provides care with compassion and expertise. By bringing services together in one safe, child-focused setting, we reduce the need for children to retell their story and help prevent retraumatization, protecting their dignity, preserving their safety, and prioritizing their healing.

Our mission is to empower, protect, and heal victims of child abuse, and we provide every service completely free of charge to children and families in Independence, Izard, Fulton, Sharp, and Stone counties.

The Harvesting Hope Gala is a celebration of that mission. It's a chance for our community to come together in compassion and generosity to ensure that no child walks this path alone.
