The Trey Rusthoven Foundation was created from a passion rooted in my own journey as a young golfer with a diverse background. Growing up in a game where access is often limited, I had to fight for every opportunity that came my way. Programs like the Mack Champ Invitational, the Underrated Golf Tour presented by Steph Curry, and the Southwest Airlines Showcase changed my life. They gave me a chance to be seen, respected, and supported, and this foundation exists to pay that forward.

Our mission is to empower underserved youth and overlooked golfers by providing access, mentorship, community, and real opportunities to grow in the game. This includes young players picking up a club for the first time, junior golfers trying to find their place, college athletes chasing the next level, and rising professionals competing on recognized developmental tours who simply need a chance.

We believe golf should be a game of talent, not access. Your support helps break down the financial and structural barriers that keep too many gifted players from reaching their potential. Every contribution helps create space for a new generation to believe in themselves, trust their development, and stay committed to the journey.

The Trey Rusthoven Foundation is a Minnesota nonprofit operating in alignment with 501(c)(3) charitable guidelines. Our IRS tax-exempt application has been submitted and is currently pending. Once approved, our exempt status will be recognized back to the date the organization was formed. Donations may become tax-deductible once approval is granted.
