Our mission is and always will be to provide Luxury style transformative housing with a Entrepreneurial based curriculum. We believe through connections with returning citizens that they aspire to be entrepreneurs due to the lack of equal opportunity jobs.

Problem:

HeRise Growth Center recognizes the critical gap in support services for returning citizens, highlighted through extensive networking and research. We understand that many individuals face significant barriers upon reintegration into society, including a lack of financial literacy, essential life skills, equal employment opportunities and the emotional resilience needed to navigate community traumas.

Addressing Community Needs: Community Advocacy: HeRise is committed to advocating for the unique needs of returning citizens, listening to their stories, and understanding the specific challenges they face. This advocacy drives our mission to create tailored support solutions.

Customized Support Services: We believe in the importance of individualized care. Our programs will be designed based on direct feedback from the community, ensuring that each participant receives the support that aligns with their personal circumstances and aspirations.

Skill Development Programs: To empower returning citizens, we will offer workshops focused on:

Financial Literacy: Teaching budgeting, saving, and responsible credit management.
Life Skills: Fostering positive decision-making, self-awareness, and self-love through interactive sessions and mentoring.

Trauma-Informed Care: Recognizing the prevalence of community trauma, our approach will incorporate trauma-informed practices that promote healing and resilience. Participants will have access to counseling and support groups to address these challenges.

Building Connections: We will facilitate networking opportunities that connect returning citizens with local resources, employers, and mentors who can provide guidance and support as they reintegrate into society.

Feedback Mechanism: To continuously improve our services, we will establish a feedback loop with participants, allowing us to adapt and refine our programs based on their experiences and evolving needs.

Solution:

HeRise Growth Center aims to address a long-standing issue by offering customized support services that empower returning citizens to receive the care and assistance they deserve. Our program will accommodate 16 male returning citizens for a duration of 6-12 months, during which they will benefit from a comprehensive range of services designed to facilitate a successful reintegration into society.

How We Plan to Tackle This:

Comprehensive Assessment: Upon entry, each participant will undergo a thorough evaluation to identify their specific needs, goals, and challenges in areas such as employment, education, mental health, and financial literacy.

Individualized Support Plans: Based on the assessment, each participant will be assigned a case manager who will develop a tailored support plan, addressing their unique circumstances and aspirations.

Skill Development Workshops: Participants will engage in workshops focused on essential life skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, financial literacy, and career readiness, to equip them with the tools necessary for success.

Mental Health and Wellness Support: Access to mental health services will be a priority, including counseling and wellness programs, to help participants manage challenges and build resilience.

Business Development: We will provide resources and assistance with helping individuals create businesses of interest from formation process to market research and cohort.

Community Engagement: Participants will be encouraged to engage with the local community through volunteer opportunities and networking events, fostering connections and promoting a sense of belonging.

Ongoing Monitoring and Support: Regular check-ins and progress assessments will ensure that participants stay on track with their goals and receive the necessary support throughout their journey.

Transition Planning: As they near the end of the program, participants will work on a transition plan that outlines their next steps, ensuring they have a solid foundation for continued success after leaving the program.

Program:

At the time of entering the program, each client will undergo a comprehensive evaluation assessing their basic skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, credit awareness, financial literacy, mental health, and career or business goals. Following this evaluation, clients will be assigned a dedicated case manager who will help develop a personalized support plan.

The program is designed to provide targeted support across all identified areas, enhancing clients' knowledge, awareness, and skills necessary for achieving a successful and fulfilling life. By the end of the program, clients will have completed their support plans, gaining valuable assistance in exploring career options or navigating the registration and compliance processes for their businesses.
