The Truth About Reading showed the crisis. Now, the story turns to the cure.

Thanks to many generous donations since the launch of this campaign, we have officially raised $25,000 to fund Phase One of production! We are now ready to film our first three interviews and create a powerful teaser trailer to inspire major donors and keep this mission alive.

About the Project

In 2022, The Truth About Reading sparked a nationwide conversation about the literacy crisis in America. None of it would have been possible without a groundswell of grassroots support — countless small donations from people who cared deeply about education and believed in the power of storytelling.

Healing After The Truth is the next chapter. This follow-up documentary will explore what’s happened since the cameras stopped rolling — stories of healing, progress, and the fight for a future where everyone can read.
