DISCOver How To Make A Change for Babies in Your Community

Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank supports low-income and at-risk families by providing emergency diaper assistance, ensuring that babies have a healthier start in life. Each month, we distribute up to 60,000 diapers and wipes through 31 Community and Client Distribution Site Partners, serving Stark, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Wayne, Medina, Harrison, Summit, and Belmont counties to assist over 1,300 children.

Our HER Project initiative aims to Help Educate and Reduce Period Poverty by offering period supply packs to our Community Distribution Partners. This program supports low-income teenage girls and women in need of period products. HER Project Period Packs are also distributed to the Stark County Educational Service Center, Akron Children's Hospital School Health Services, and Stark County Health Department reaching 64 schools across 9 counties.

Additionally, adult briefs are provided to each Community Distribution Site Partner for adults who require incontinence supplies.

Since starting distributions in May 2019, the Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank has supplied our Community Distribution Site Partners with over 1.9 million essential items to support the communities we serve.
