ABOUT INSPIRE AND SERVE

Inspire and Serve isn’t just a 501c3 nonprofit—it’s a movement grounded in purpose, cultural fluency, and community trust. With a full-time presence in Jamaica, our team—composed of Certified Jamaica Specialists, globally experienced professionals with Jamaican roots, and grassroots local advocates—co-creates every service experience with care. Together, we ensure that every act of giving is community-led, dignity-centered, and deeply personal—building a legacy of sustainable impact for women and children. WHAT WE'RE COLLECTING (high-need categories):

Hygiene: soap, deodorant, toothpaste/brushes, washcloths, sanitary pads/tampons, fungal cream

Baby & Teen Mom: diapers (newborn and up), wipes, formula, bottles, baby food, nursing pads, diaper cream, and powdered milk

Linens & Bedding: mattresses, twin sheets, light blankets, pillows, towels, washcloths, clothespins

Food & Nutrition: cereals, canned fish and meats, soups, spaghetti, non-perishable food items, and (rice, beans, pasta)

Health & Safety: first-aid kits, solar lights, emergency radios, flashlights, headlamps, rechargeable lanterns, AA/AAA batteries, power banks, tarpaulin & rope

Cleaning & Laundry: bleach, mops, brooms, disinfectant, trash bags, washing powder, gloves, sponges, and cleaning cloths

Tools & Repair: hammer, nails, ropes, work gloves, basic toolkits for repairs, light tools (tape measures, screwdrivers)

Power & Connectivity: generator, StarLink internet device, portable solar power units, and mobile phone service packages

School & Activities: board games, puzzles, small group activities, arts & crafts materials

Agriculture & Animal Care: chicken feed and basic farming supplies (for Melody House farm recovery)

HOW YOUR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE USED:

Transport & Distribution in Jamaica (driver day-rate, fuel, tolls)

Barrels & Packing Supplies (barrels/drums, boxes, tape, shrink wrap, labels)

Ocean Freight / Air Baggage Fees & Handling (US → Jamaica freight, port/terminal fees, customs brokerage)

Local Logistics (van/box truck rentals, route coordination, delivery drivers)

Volunteer Support (team members to organize, pack, and monitor deliveries, monitor & update needs, create reports; no salaries)

Admin Essentials (short-term coordination hours, phone/data for field comms)

Contingency (5–10% for unforeseen storm-related costs only)

🚚 4. Projected Delivery Schedule

We are committed to ensuring donations reach children as quickly and safely as possible.

✈️ First Delivery: November 8–9, 2025 – items shipped by air
🚢 Second Delivery: December 6–7, 2025 – items shipped by sea
