More U.S. presidents were born in Virginia than in any other state in the Union. Dozens of museums and historic homes--including Staunton's own Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum--tell the stories of these eight men and their impact on our nation.

In celebration of Presidents' Day, join local author and historian Heather S. Cole for a talk about the Virginia-born presidents and the sites that shaped their lives. We will travel the state--from Staunton to Charles City and Wytheville to Winchester--to (virtually) visit the homes and historic sites of the Virginia presidents. Learn a bit about their lives, take a peek inside their homes and plan your next history road trip.

Following the talk, Cole's new book, Virginia's Presidents: A History and Guide (The History Press, 2023), will be available for purchase for $24. Proceeds will benefit the Augusta County Historical Society and the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library.
