Through this partnership, we are committed to fully supporting 5 girls for 12 months — giving them safety, shelter, love, and the opportunity to rebuild their futures.

But the mission does not stop there.
1040 Impact currently cares for 416 rescued girls across four safe houses — each one a survivor, each one deserving of dignity, education, and a chance to dream again.

The Founder: H.E. Dr Saf Buxy

Dr Saf Buxy is a Psychotherapist, Human Behavioural Coach, Human Rights Activist, Peace Ambassador, Author and Professional Speaker. He imparts life-altering knowledge and personal expertise to guide client's towards a more fulfilling future.

By drawing upon his own life Dr Saf combines his experience of trauma, abuse and addiction with research, training and vocation to guide those affected.

Dr Saf has effectively liberated a large number of individuals from suffering, allowing them to lead fruitful and inspiring lives.

Dr Saf Buxy's vision for "HUH" is to Help, change and save lives.

He is a UN Global Peace Ambassador (WOLMI-ICC), and an advocate for Drug-Free World Campaign, The Way to Happiness Campaign, CCHR & United for Human Rights Initiatives.

Recent Rescue Success Stories:

Tricia is a 14-year-old girl. Tricia lived with her mother, who lived and worked as a prostitute. Due to wanting to make extra money, Tricia's mother tried to sell her at the local sex trafficking auction block. Because of our Safe House’s rescue team, Tricia was rescued from the auction block right before being sold into sex slavery, where she now lives under the guidance, protection, and love of Safe House staff. Because of our Safe House, Tricia now lives in a place where she is loved, cared for, and reminded that her real worth is that of a daughter!

Jacqueline was beaten by her parents and forced to get married to a 65-year-old Chinese trafficker. She ran away from home and was living in a bus shelter and begging people for help. Our rescue team found her and moved her into our Safe House 🏠 💙 🙏 ❤️ Real name, Location, and identities not shared due to security concerns.

Alexia's mother worked as a prostitute and wanted to make money by selling her. Alexia was rescued while she was being sold at an auction and moved into our Safe House 🏠 🙏 ❤️ She's growing, learning English, socializing with new friends in our Safe House and is learning to cook and make handbags to earn money in the market.

Ashley Rescued at age 14

Her mom was a prostitute and needed money so she sold her daughter. Before she went to the brothel we redeemed her and brought her to our safe house.

Ashley lived with her mother, who lived and worked as a prostitute. Due to wanting to make extra money, Ashley's mother tried to sell her at the local sex trafficking auction block.

Because of 1040Impact's Safe House’s rescue team, Ashley was rescued from the auction block right before being sold into sex slavery, where she now lives under the guidance, protection, and love of Safe House staff. Because of Safe House, Ashley now lives in a place where she is loved, cared for, and reminded that her real worth is that of a daughter. She's now 16 and learning about Jesus and wants to be a cosmetologist!

Kidnapped and Trafficked at 10

Cindy was kidnapped when she was 10 years old and sold out to brothels. She was forced to go with 8 to 10 men every day. She was very young and, at times, would refuse to cooperate.

Because of this, she would be severely beaten. As she continued to resist, they broke her legs as punishment. She was kept without food and was not given any medical attention. One leg became infected, and by the time she was taken to the hospital, her leg had to be amputated.

After her amputation, she was thrown away, dumped like a dog and left on the streets. A Pastor who is a part of our Safe House network and team was visiting and came to learn of her situation.

She was rescued and brought into our Safe House home where she is now loved, accepted, and safe. Her story is not unique it is similar to the hundreds of girls we have rescued and care for on a daily basis. Thanks to caring friends like you, Cindy's life will never be the same!

She's learning life skills, receiving an education and receiving vocational training to prepare her for life.

The Scale of Our Work 🌍

Over the past eight years, God has allowed us to conduct multiple rescues, beginning with 55 children and growing to a total of 416 children rescued. While the majority have been girls, some of the children rescued were siblings—brothers who were also vulnerable and at risk.

Each number is a story. Each story is a child who now has a future.

Why Donor Support Matters 💙

Every rescue depends on donor generosity. Before we say yes, we must know that we can sustain the care these children need. That means:

Funding medical care and trauma counseling
Providing food, clothing, and shelter
Hiring trained staff for safe houses
Covering education and spiritual mentoring
Expanding facilities to house more children

Without donors, we simply cannot say yes to every request. But with your partnership, we can expand our reach and answer more cries for help.

Children who once believed they were worthless are discovering their value in Christ.
Communities once in despair are now filled with hope because light has broken through.

The work is far from finished. Human trafficking is one of the largest and fastest-growing criminal industries in the world, and the 10/40 Window is at the epicenter. But with God’s help and your support, we believe we can make a lasting impact.
