We were so excited for the life we were beginning with our sweet son, Henry Love. At 39 weeks, we never imagined that everything could change so suddenly. After not feeling him move one morning, we went to the doctor—only to learn that our precious boy had passed away due to an umbilical cord issue.

Just one week from our due date, we delivered our son knowing we would finally meet him that day, but not in the way we had dreamed. Losing Henry changed our lives forever.

We are deeply grateful for the Sophia Ann Charity and the Sophia Center, where our grief groups and therapy sessions are held. Having a safe, compassionate space—and walking through this unimaginable loss alongside other parents who truly understand—has been incredibly comforting and healing.
