While many of us gather to celebrate Pride, countless Black queer and trans migrants continue to face detention, displacement, homelessness, isolation, and barriers to safety and belonging. At the Black Diaspora Liberty Initiative (BDLI), we work every day to ensure that Black LGBTQ+ immigrants have access to the resources, support, and community they need not just to survive, but to thrive.

Through direct support, leadership development, community organizing, advocacy, civic engagement, and emergency assistance, BDLI is helping create a world where Black LGBTQ+ migrants are seen, valued, and free.
