Holy Hospitality is an Episcopal Camps & Conference Centers (ECCC) event dedicated to camp and retreat ministry: food service teams, maintenance staff, and guest services leaders. From December 15–18, 2025, at Bellwether Farm in Ohio, participants will gather for a unique blend of professional development, peer learning, and wellness.

The event will feature workshops led by experienced facilitators in each area: kitchen innovation and food systems, facilities management and sustainability practices, and guest services and hospitality systems. In addition to technical training, participants will share stories, exchange favorite resources and partners, and reflect on their work as a ministry that creates sacred, safe, and welcoming spaces for all.

You do not need to be part of the ECCC network to attend. All are welcome.

Purpose

To affirm these roles as true beacons of hospitality — creating spaces of welcome, safety, and transformation.
To provide professional development tailored to their work.
To create a space where participants can share practices, partners, and wisdom with peers across the camp and conference network.

Format

Workshops & Training led by facilitators with expertise in food service, facilities/maintenance, and guest services.
Hands-on sessions (e.g., kitchen innovation, sustainability practices, repair techniques, hospitality systems).
Community building through meals, worship, and peer sharing.
Networking opportunities with colleagues and potential partners/vendors.

Outcomes

Participants return to their camps and centers with new skills, resources, and connections.
These essential staff are recognized and celebrated as ministers whose contributions are central to creating sacred, just spaces where camp and retreat ministry flourishes.
