At the Huntington County Humane Society, we're proud to introduce you to our S.T.A.Y. Program.

This Giving Tuesday, we're asking for your support in helping us enable this program for success through your generosity and commitment to helping animals STAY in their homes and with their families.

STAY: Standing Together for Animals & You

STAY represents our promise that no family has to face a crisis alone. It's the moment our shelter steps up and stands together with pet parents so pets can stay home and families stay whole.

We know that every week, we meet families facing tough choices - vet bills or rent, groceries or pet food, fixing the fence the dog keeps escaping from or fixing the car...

Through STAY, we are creating a program that we step in before an animal surrender happens by providing food, training, veterinary care, and more. STAY will exist to make sure those moments don't end in a goodbye to their pets.

Our vision for our STAY programs includes:

STAY Home: Temporary housing support for pet owners facing displacement or pet rental deposit assistance
STAY Healthy: Low-cost vaccines & microchips, emergency veterinary funding, PAL program
STAY Fed: Pet food pantry + distribution sites
STAY Smart: Behavioral training support, responsible ownership education programs
STAY Connected: Volunteer & Foster programs, links to other community partners, post-adoption support and check ins.
