The Huron Music Association (HMA) is a 501C-3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the entire Huron Music Department through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

Your contribution can support the overall mission of HMA by selecting General fund. This fund covers any of the three ensembles to support assets like uniforms, scholarships, and events like graduation that are inclusive of all three ensembles. Alternatively, your support can be earmarked to specific ensemble(s) of Band, Choir, and Orchestra. Regardless of your preference, the music program is the ultimate beneficiary.

In the 2024-2025 school year, we were able to support:

Guest artists and teachers to inspire and educate students across all ensembles.
Scholarships for summer music camps, private lessons, and high-level performance opportunities.
Support for travel to prestigious events:
- Orchestra students at the Michigan Music Conference (MMC)
- Choir students for a European Tour through Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg
- Jazz Band competing in the international Essentially Ellington Competition in New York, placing 10th out of over 127 entries!
Transportation and logistics for 140 students performing at MMC.
Concert afterglows, marching band tailgates and commencement dinner
Solo & Ensemble success: 360 participants, 73% receiving top ratings, and 43 selected or honored for All-State ensembles.
Instrument repairs and replacements not funded by the district.
Uniform purchases, dry cleaning, and fittings for over 400 students.
