The IALA Yerevan Chapter presents a reading and discussion with author Alene Terzian-Zeitounian on June 25, 2025 in conversation with fellow poet and Yerevan Chapter co-leader Nyree Abrahamian. Join us at AHA collective, at 8:00 PM AMT for a special evening of poetry, wine, and conversation!  Open to all, the event is free of charge but a donation of any amount would be appreciated. Register by clicking on ‘Donate & Tickets’. Dr. Alene Terzian-Zeitounian is a globally minded leader, poet, and educator with a deep commitment to advocacy and social justice. She currently serves as the Humanities Department Chair and teaches creative writing at College of the Canyons. She is also the faculty advisor of cul-de-sac, the campus’s award-winning literary and arts magazine. She holds an M.A. and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, with a concentration in poetry, and a doctorate in Education, specializing in Leadership and Innovation. Her work has been featured in esteemed publications such as the Bellevue Literary Review, Colorado Review, Mizna, and Rise Up Review. Nyree Abrahamian is a Canadian-Armenian writer and producer based in Yerevan. She produces Country of Dust, an award-winning narrative podcast, and co-founded the Tumanyan International Storytelling Festival. Nyree’s poems are featured in Mizna, Poetry Northwest, Nimrod International Journal and Protean Magazine, among others.
