About the Family Recovery Documentary Project:

Goal: $200,000, as of 7.17.24, we have raised $108,735.

When involved in a family recovery program, family members are in a safe space to share their fears and concerns without judgement. Research demonstrates the positive impact the family may have on a loved one’s recovery from a substance use disorder when they learn the tools to navigate this journey. This documentary will be able to help families learn what family recovery is and why it is important. They will see that they are not alone on this journey and that there is help available.

We will take donations from individuals, foundations and grants. We will not accept donations from treatment providers for this project. ALL donations given through ILLUME's Givebutter account go directly to the Family Recovery Movie project.
