About the Family Recovery Documentary:

The Family Recovery Documentary transforms outdated practices, empowering families on their recovery journey with compassionate, inspirational stories and expert insights.

Research demonstrates the positive impact the family may have on a loved one’s recovery from a substance use disorder when they learn the tools to navigate this journey. This documentary will show families what family recovery is and why it is important. By engaging with the film families will feel less alone and more supported.

We welcome donations from individuals, foundations and grants. We will not be accepting donations from treatment providers for this project. ALL donations given through ILLUME's Givebutter account go directly to the Family Recovery Movie project.
