The Children's Ministry Vision: Iglesia Metodista Primitiva-Monte de Sión pastored by Ismael Noriega has a vision to develop a new children's ministry where they can accommodate more children. By next July, they are starting their new children's ministry called AWANA. Their goal is to reach 25 children from the surrounding community.

The Current Situation: Right now, their church has one room for children's ministry, the size is 7'x9', and can only accommodate 5-6 children. It has been very difficult to work with the children in that small space for more than 9 years. This has prevented the church from helping the children in their process of Christian formation and several families have left the church due to this difficulty. The need for the second level is urgent. They have tried setting up a tent in a near by soccer field for the children to meet, but the heat, dust, and rain made it very difficult. In addition to the weather, there wasn't a bathroom nearby for the children to use as needed. There is no property to expand the building on the first floor, and therefore, the next step is to build a second level.

The Solution: Building a second story will provide a safe space for children's classrooms, bathrooms, and a place to prepare snacks, food, and provide an office space.
