Northern California DeMolay is proud to be the home of the 58th International Master Councilor, Max Shanmugasundaram.

To celebrate his service to DeMolay International, and to showcase the impact members of DeMolay make in their communities worldwide, March 8, 2025 has been designated as the International Master Councilor's Day of Service. Northern California DeMolay will host the flagship event at the Grand Lodge of California in San Francisco.

Max has chosen to partner with the nonprofit There with Care as the beneficiary of the event.

There with Care's mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. To support that mission, those attending in San Francisco will participate in building "Easy Meal" Care Bags and Activity Care Bags. We are seeking donations to purchase the supplies for the bags to be built.

All donors will be acknowledged in pre and post event social media and during the event itself. All donors will also receive a thank you letter detailing their donation as well as the impact made on the community as a result of their support.

In light of the ongoing wildfires in Southern California, any excess funds raised from this event will be donated to wildfire relief.
