Dear Red Panda lovers!
I am one of the members of the Red Panda Network (RPN) team in Nepal. I am very much fortunate to work for the conservation of this endangered species on a daily basis. My role at RPN is to train and mobilize our Citizen Scientists known as Forest Guardians for monitoring red pandas and currently leading habitat restoration initiative.
I was one of the team members of the recently executed GPS-Collaring of red pandas in eastern Nepal. I have many thrilling experiences from that 2-months long expedition. The results from the study have been beneficial for RPN to devise and implement red panda conservation activities in the field.

Currently, I oversee the Plant A Red Panda Home (PARPH) which includes the establishment of forest conservation nurseries, plantation campaigns, purchase of private lands, mobilization of community people in reforestation activities which connects critical red panda habitats which are isolated by human activities. This PARPH project is one of the most exciting and satisfying jobs I have ever done in my lifetime.

I also co-hosted a YouTube series called "Habre Guff-Gaff" with the biggest film star of Nepal, Dayahang Rai which brings stories of red panda conservation from the grassroots.
I am one of the Whitley Award winners of 2022 and the award will be utilized to restore critical red panda habitat and tackle illegal trade and poaching of red panda in Nepal. The film about our work in Nepal narrated by Sir David Attenborough could be watched here.
Thank you so much for your support. We are committed to invest and make impact of your every dollar!
