Break the cycle of trauma in communities one county at a time by bringing together the collective resources of the community to repair, reward, reconcile and renew those most affected by trauma and by introducing evidence based strategies that eliminate barriers to equitable health and prosperity.

With Your Gift We Can

INFORM

With a Gift of $100 you can support a small congregation's childcare program who otherwise would not be able to afford to have their After School Coordinators and parents be trained in the science of N.E.A.R. Training and become more proficient in navigating online services to find affordable virtual counseling services for their loved ones.

BRING TOGETHER

With a Gift of $250 you can help us bring together local leaders from law enforcement and faith based organizations as well as state officials from public health and public safety agencies for a 1 day training on preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) with premier experts in the field. An event like this was presented by ITEJ In less than 6 weeks in response to an entire community repeatedly witnessing on their local news and on social media the beating of a restrained mentally ill woman by over stressed and under-trained traumatized officers. Not only were public health and safety professionals incentivized to participate with continuing education credits, but lunch was provided and the event was open to the public at no cost to registrants.

UPLIFT

With a Gift of $500 you support our efforts in collaboration with community partners to offer tablets, smartphones, and other wireless mobile devices that will be used for in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning, self-discovery, and self-care through ITEJ Bring Together events, workshops, focus groups, and trainings all designed to improve fluency in the 7Literacy Jewels and create a supply and demand economy around positive experiences.
