We need your support as we sustain and expand impact in Brown County. Funds raised during Giving Tuesday will support Brown County United Way's NEW community space, the City East Center. ALL funds will be matched up to $125,000 through the Green Bay Packer Foundation!

The City East Center is part of a public private partnership with the City of Green Bay, Wisconsin, regional developers and the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) for the development and construction of a 43-unit affordable housing that aligns with the City’s 2020 Housing Market Study. The 43-unit housing project is known as the City East Apartments. The City East Center is constructed on the same site as the 43-unit housing project and provides ready access to community support for the apartment and neighborhood residents.

The vision is to provide a space where nonprofits can collaborate to welcome people of all ages to learn, find assistance when needed, and build relationships with other residents to strengthen their sense of belonging in the neighborhood. The project broke ground in 2023 celebrated with a ribbon cutting for the grand opening in September of 2024! BCUW staff will support the coordination of nonprofits utilizing the space at the City East Center to make the greatest impact on community members in Brown County by creating equitable access to resources.
