Lauren is making a bold and heartfelt commitment to support brain cancer research: she’s cutting off her hair to raise funds for this critical cause. Why? Because this fight hits close to home.

Her brother, Nolan, was diagnosed with brain cancer (oligodendroglioma) at just 30 years old in 2021. After a successful craniotomy that same year, Nolan and his family hoped for more time. Tragically, his cancer returned in 2024.

Now, Nolan is courageously navigating a grueling 42-week treatment regimen of radiation and chemotherapy while balancing life with his wife and baby daughter, Nora. This year alone, he’ll take approximately 2,023 pills—each one a reminder of the limited progress in brain cancer treatment since the 1970s. While current therapies work to kill cancer cells, they also harm healthy ones, underscoring the urgent need for innovation in this field.

Determined to make a difference, Lauren and her family founded the Brain Cancer Research Alliance, dedicated to driving funding and awareness for brain cancer research.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will directly support groundbreaking research aimed at improving treatments and finding a cure.
