Join us for a macrame class to support our efforts to fight sex abuse and sex trade recruitment in Northeastern Brazil.

We train local staff to recognize signs of vulnerability and signs of recruitment so that we can step in and provide education and economic support to families facing this terrible reality. When families accept our help, we work with them to define appropriate action to decrease their vulnerability to sex trade recruiters, with things like entrepreneurial training, micro loans, school supplies, food, clothing, temporary or permanent shelter, trade skill training, mentorship, space to cultivate food crops, and many other strategies. This allows us to relieve the economic pressure that makes families and kids vulnerable to the sex trade recruiters without creating permanent dependence on outside help.
